The Sri Lankan government has announced an exciting initiative to open archaeological sites for night tourism, starting with the world-famous Sigiriya Rock Fortress. This UNESCO World Heritage site, renowned for its stunning frescoes and ancient ruins, will soon be accessible after sunset, offering visitors a unique and enchanting experience.

Deputy Minister of Buddhasasana, Religious, and Cultural Affairs, Gamagedara Dissanayake, revealed that Sigiriya will be the first site to host nighttime visits.
